About the Practices

Walkley House Medical Centre is based close to the amenities at Walkley, and within easy reach of public transport.

The surgery is located in a large, older type building and comprises consulting rooms on the ground and first floors, a ground floor treatment room, reception area and second floor administration office and staff room.

The reception is fitted with a hearing loop and there are disabled toilet facilities.

We are part of Sheffield CCG

The practice is a training practice and there is sometimes a GP registrar working at Walkley House Medical Centre, under the supervision of Dr Jenny Stephenson. There may also be occasions when the district nurses/health visitors have a student nurse working as part of their team.

Please note that the car park is for staff and doctors’ use only.

Stannington Medical Centre is a purpose-built medical centre premises, adapted for disabled entry, with a car park to the rear.

One half of the building is shared with Dr Shurmer's Practice, which is separate from ours. All patient service rooms are on the ground floor, including waiting area, four consulting rooms and a spacious treatment room.

The nearby local Pharmacy is a very short distance away (Pond Road) and the other local Pharmacy is a little further down Stannington Road.

Kindly note that the car park is for staff, doctors and patients' use only.
